Head to Lille from Brussels at high speed and without changes, in only 35 minutes. Eurostar or TGV® Brussels-France will whisk you off to Lille’s city centre, a true paradise for shopaholics and culture lovers.
In Brussels (Midi/Zuid), get aboard TGV Brussels-France or Eurostar and set off for Lille, the main city of northern France. The train will get you straight there from the Belgian capital in a little over 30 minutes.
After a relaxing trip on board the train, your journey will end at Lille’s international train station, Lille Europe. This station’s located in the Euralille shopping centre in the heart of the city. It’s served by numerous international trains, making it the ideal starting point for journeys to other French destinations, but also for travellers on their way to Great Britain.
Due to announced strike, fewer trains will be operating on the Belgian rail network from Sunday 25 January (10 pm - CET) to Friday 30 January 2026 included.
An alternative train service will be drawn up based on available train staff. All details on this alternative train service will be available 24h in advance on www.belgiantrain.be.
Please take this alternative train service into account if you need to take a domestic connection in Belgium before or after an international train journey, or if you need to take our regional trains just across the border (Roosendaal, Maastricht, Aachen, Luxembourg, Lille or Maubeuge).
For the time being, we still don't know the possible impact of this strike on international trains (EuroCity, Eurocity Direct, TGV INOUI, Eurostar, OUIGO, ICE etc.). Please check this page regularly for further updates.
Due to engineering works near the French border, InterCity trains connecting Belgium and Lille Flandres will be replaced by substitution buses from Saturday 21 February to Sunday 1 March between Tournai and Lille Flandres and between Mouscron/Moeskroen and Lille Flandres.
