What's the best way to travel from Brussels to Paris? Nothing could be faster or easier than by train, of course!
The choice is yours: Eurostar, the red high-speed train, connects the two capitals in a record time of just 1 hour 22 minutes. OUIGO is a bit slower, but offers 3 daily connections to Paris at unbeatable prices.
Remember to book your tickets in advance (up to 6 months before departure) to get the lowest fares.
Whether you prefer the high speed and comfort of Eurostar or the low fares of OUIGO Brussels-Paris, you'll board at Bruxelles-Midi, Brussels' main international train station.
In both cases, you will arrive at Paris Nord station, right in the centre of Paris. Many bus, metro and RER lines, as well as local train connections, will take you to every part of the French capital or enable you to continue your journey beyond Paris.
If you like walking, you can even take advantage of the station's central location to start your visit of Paris on foot.
Due to announced strike, fewer trains will be operating on the Belgian rail network from Sunday 25 January (10 pm - CET) to Friday 30 January 2026 included.
An alternative train service will be drawn up based on available train staff. All details on this alternative train service will be available 24h in advance on www.belgiantrain.be.
Please take this alternative train service into account if you need to take a domestic connection in Belgium before or after an international train journey, or if you need to take our regional trains just across the border (Roosendaal, Maastricht, Aachen, Luxembourg, Lille or Maubeuge).
For the time being, we still don't know the possible impact of this strike on international trains (EuroCity, Eurocity Direct, TGV INOUI, Eurostar, OUIGO, ICE etc.). Please check this page regularly for further updates.
