Get to Berlin from London with Eurostar and ICEGet to Berlin from London

From the bustling British capital to the equally exciting capital of Germany: get from London to Berlin by train.

This journey, on board Eurostar and ICE trains, requires 2 changes, one in Brussels and one in Cologne.

Get to Brussels from London by EurostarTo Brussels from London

The first leg of your journey will take you from London to Brussels (Midi/Zuid) by Eurostar. In just 1 hour 48 minutes, you will have left hectic London behind to arrive right in the heart of Europe, passing through the Channel Tunnel.

From Brussels to Cologne

In Brussels (Midi/Zuid), step on board a Eurostar or ICE train to Cologne. The 9 daily trains provide a direct service in just 1:47. If there’s enough time to catch your connecting train in Cologne, you should consider stepping outside to admire the magnificent Cologne Cathedral.

From Cologne to Berlin

Once you arrive at Köln Hbf (Cologne) station, change trains to get to Berlin. All you need to do is change platforms to catch a high-speed ICE train straight to the German capital.

The 17 daily ICE trains will take you directly into the centre of Berlin in around 4 hours 20 minutes. We recommend getting off at the central station (Berlin Hauptbahnhof), which is within easy reach of all the most popular tourist destinations in Berlin. Berlin Hbf also offers excellent connections to other German cities (Leipzig or Dresden, for example).
