The charming Christmas stalls of the Maastricht market are set up at Vrijthof, around the ice rink. In winter, the old town is lit up with 1001 lights: admire the animated lights on the 1992 Square and the Markt, follow the circuit of 200 mistletoe lights in the trees along the Onze Lieve Vrouwplein, etc. Enjoy this festive atmosphere by seeing it from above: treat yourself to a trip on the large Ferris wheel.
With the Train of Three Countries, Maastricht is only 34 minutes away from Liège-Guillemins station, with departures every hour and a last return journey shortly after midnight.
