Set out to explore Breda, a town in the south of the Netherlands within 10 km from the Belgian border, and let yourself be surprised by its versatility. EuroCity trains will take you straight to the city centre every day!
Due to a power outage in the Rotterdam area, no trains are running between Rotterdam and Breda until Thursday 2 July at 6 pm.
Eurostar trains are diverted between Antwerp and Amsterdam Centraal, and will therefore not serve Rotterdam and Schiphol Airport. Passengers can use local NS trains between Amsterdam and Schiphol or Rotterdam.
EuroCity and Eurocity Direct trains are only operating between Brussels and Breda. Passengers can use local NS trains between Breda and their destination in the Netherlands.
Due to planned engineering works, EuroCity and Eurocity Direct trains will only operate between Bruxelles-Midi/Brussel-Zuid and Breda from Tuesday 21 July to Friday 24 July 2026 included.
If you travel to Rotterdam, Schiphol-Airport or Amsterdam (and onward), you can change trains in Breda and use NS trains (Dutch Railways) to your final destination.
If you travel from the Netherlands to Belgium, you can use other trains from Amsterdam, Schiphol Airport or Rotterdam to Breda, where you can board on the EuroCity or the Eurocity Direct to Brussels.
Please check the adapted schedules before you depart.
